For Biodiversity Week 2023 CELT were delighted to offer 2 guided walks
The first one took place at the Slieve Aughty Centre on May 21st with a Guided walk by Julius Silvan, discussing sustainable native woodlands management, Agroforestry, Tree Coupes, CCF and natural building at the Medieval Round House, which was followed by a short film about agroforestry.
In support of National Biodiversity Week, on Sunday 28th May, CELT, in association with Abhainn Dá Loilíoch Woodland Group, provided a FREE guided walk through the scenic woodlands and riverside at Lahardaun. Meeting at Chevy Chase forestry entrance.
