The final in a series of workshops with our Writer in Residence, Kerri ní Dochertaigh took place on Sun, 1st March in the Slieve Aughty Centre, Kylebrack

The Writer-In-Residence with Kerri ní Dochartaigh took place in parternship with the WoodlandLeagus and Nature Culture Wirting the Land Project with the aim to share and record stories of the Great Forest of Aughty.

Kerri posed questions for the groups to consider including -

What does the forest mean to you? Do you live within her folds? Do you tend to her through your days in a way you’d like to share? Or maybe you simply feel a deep, ancestral, life affirming love?

This gently guided workshop was open and suitable for everyone and was part of a project to pay tribute to the Great Forest of Aughty in a small publication.
