About The Event
Construct a traditional Sugan chair using green native timber, ash and hazel, with ‘mortice and tenon’ joints (no nails!) and then seat the chair using a rope pattern for the seat.
Sisal rope is use for the seat and also there will be instruction in making traditional sugan rope from twisted hay.
Materials charge : €10 – €15
