What to expect from this course?
With Sean Walsh your tutor, you construct a traditional Sugan chair using green native timber, ash and hazel, with ‘mortice and tenon’ joints (no nails!) and then seat the chair using a rope pattern for the seat.
Sisal rope is use for the seat and also there will be instruction in making traditional sugan rope from twisted hay.
What is the material cost for this workshop?
Materials charge : €20 – €25 and must be paid to the tutor directly.
