About The Event
Join us for a special Biodiversity Week meeting with Local Foresters Brian Walsh, Woodland League, Jeremy Turkinton, Hometree and Jonathon Spatzi, Teagasc to explore together with the local community, the biodiversity richness of the Tuamgraney Community Woodland as part of a developing long term management plan for this wonderful community nature space.
This event is held in collaboration with the Tuamgraney Development Association and the Woodland League. All stakeholders and users of the woodland welcome. The Biodiversity & long term Sustainable Woodland Management discussion will be led by our panel of forest experts and enthusiasts, but the evening will be an opportunity for everyone to contribute to the long term vision for the use of the Commumity Woodland and all ideas and opinions are welcome and encouraged. This event will help shape the legacy of the woodland for future generations, and hopefully be an inspiration to communities around the country.
