Hedge laying is an ancient skill, involving a rejuvenative process that keeps the hedgerow young and vigorous indefinitely.
It is considered the optimum form of management for our native hedgerows and it is hard to overstate its value in preserving habitats for our threatened wildlife and protecting Ireland's Biodiversity.
This one-day introduction course is aimed at novice hedge layers or anyone seeking to gain more experience.

We have introduced a sliding scale payment system to make our offerings more accessible to everyone, recognising that financial situations vary. You can now choose between three payment options: €240, €195, or €145, based on what is sustainable for you. This model is rooted in trust and solidarity, allowing those with greater financial means to contribute more, while ensuring that cost is not a barrier for others. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive community where everyone can participate, regardless of economic circumstances.
