Herblore workshop with Deb

Have you ever wanted to work with plant medicine but don’t know where to start?

In this 2 Day workshop you will learn to identify some of the medicinal herbs that grow in our native hedgerows, field margins and woodland floors during the Summer months.

You will learn how to hand gather these native plants and process them into a wonderful Wellness tonic.

You will learn the ‘materia medica’ of some of our weedy powerhouse herbs and how to safely extract their medicine in the form of teas and tinctures.

You will explore the process of drying herbs and how to create nourishing and beautiful creams and balms for your skin - the biggest organ of the body.

Together we will discuss the benefits of a chemical free lifestyle and you will learn how to make safe and natural products for cleaning your surfaces and washing your dishes.

We will spend our time mostly outdoors.

Firstly exploring the magical surroundings of Slieve Aughty and the plant medicine she is home to, and then around a stove, creating and cooking and communing, reconnecting into the herbal witch energy that lies within all of us.

We will talk about chemical free homes and each participant will make and take home a bottle of herbal home cleaning spray - free of synthetic chemicals.

We will look at natural herbal beauty care and each participant will take home a "love bundle" of handcrafted herbal beauty products including a sugar scrub / salt scrub and hand cream.

Possibly some other magical creations depending on the energy of the Day and the height of the moon :-)

Please bring waterproof gear & comfy clothes for the outdoors.
