Dry stone wall building

Learn the craft of dry stone wall building with your tutors : Neil Browne and Neil Kenny.

 The only carbon neutral method of building which is green, resilent to flooding, requires nothing more then stone and time to build and provides a unique ecosystem which provides biodiversity as it ages over time.

You will learn, how to select and grade stone, dig wall foundations, lay foundation stones and how to select and use facing stones for the wall faces, hearting stone for the structural binding, through stones and coping stones to solidify and decorate your wall. For your own safety, steel toe-capped boots should be worn. No trainers, shoes or wellies and no loose-fitting clothing or shorts are permitted, and you should wear long sleeves.

Please bring: Protective gloves and Safety glasses.
