Celt are delighted to welcome you to a family friendly afternoon programme of fun, free, nature based creative activities in the beautiful Sliabh Aughty Center, Kylebrack, Loughrea. We will offer a variety of nature based and traditional craft demonstrations and activities focusing on young people from 8 to teens, giving them the chance to try out and learn about some of our traditional crafts and enchanted forest activities.Join us for free workshops throughout the afternoon, where Children will work with skilled forest school and traditional craft makers and engage in a variety of fun nature activities and heritage crafts and even have a go themselves. This event will encourage young people to discover their creative side and  where the emphasis is on fun, creativity, nature awareness and connection.Enjoy a sandwich in the Sliabh Aughty Centre organic café afterwards too!

The workshops are open to the public :

1-4pm - Printing with Hayley - print tree discs with nature inspired resist cutouts

1-4pm -  Foraging with Olwyn - suitable age 10+ every hour 1 group

1- 4pm - Enchanted Forest Walk & Nature Trail activities - suitable for all ages

1- 4pm-  Forest School Nature Crafts - multiple dynamic children's activities including nature crafts (inks and dyes, clay crafts, willow crafts), suitable for all ages.

1 - 4pm - Meet the Bees with Jenny of Oakwood Farm, suitable for all ages
