Join us for a fun day-long celebration of our Ancient Woodlands and our new Nature Education and Biodiversity Restoration project at the Slieve Aughty Center with educational walks, talks, food foraging, forest bathing and storytelling with a special focus on our Great Forest of Aughty.
We will host a series of presentations from some of the inspiring Native Woodland Organisations to the fore of woodland protection and restoration in Ireland, alongside an amazing display of traditional crafts from our renowned Weekend in the Hills – Festival of Traditional Crafts & Sustainable Living.
