Our Collaborators
We also work with various regenerative agroforestry and nursery locations around Ireland. Please see our events for details of active locations.
The Woodland League is a trusted close working relationship, promoting timeless knowledge around traditional native woodlands and their futures.
FoodTree
We work closely with FoodTree nursery, providing biosafe native tree options for enhanced food security.
CELT were pleased to partner Abhainn Dá Loilíoch Woodland Group - a local community Citizen Science initiative - in a project funded by Galway County Council Climate Action Fund during the summer. Group members and guests took part in training days with experts to learn how to identify and monitor aquatic life (Paul Murphy) and birds.(Gordon D'Arcy). The aim is to record changes (hopefully improvements) in biodiversity along the river and riparian zone whilst encouraging landowners to plant more native trees. This is part of an ongoing Citizen Science project with an aim to also improve water quality. Click here for booklet
The Slieve Aughty Centre is our eco-home base, and serves as location for many of our offerings, including the wildly popular Weekend in the Hills craft skills trainings.
We have enjoyed a long working relationship with Ireland's Seed Savers.
