Medieval Roundhouse Life

Suitable for 5th and 6th Class children

Experience rural early-medieval living at our authentically constructed Roundhouse.

A short nature education walk across the hills brings you to our on site-living experience, where the group can witness first-hand what life was like amidst the elements around the year 700 AD.

Combining history, natural heritage, and nature connection, the group will witness a Quern stone demo, traditional fire lighting with flint and steel, and then partake in an option of activities at the Roundhouse, such as Cordage making, bread cooking, and even attempt their own construction of a miniature Roundhouse replica.

Educational, team building and fun guaranteed! Boots and rain gear are advised.
