About The Event

Curious about edible weeds and wild plants? Come to this bitesize foraging workshop with Olwyn Williams for an introduction to some of our most common wild plants and learn the many ways they can be used as food, medicine and more. Work with freshly picked plants to learn basic plant identification skills and discuss some simple, versatile recipe ideas.

Expect to gain a new perspective on those garden weeds you spend so much time removing!

There will be time for questions, as well as the opportunity to sample some wild food tasters with Olwyn after the workshop at her stall.

Where: at Harvest - Music and Garden Festival, Ennis Showgrounds,

When: 1- 2pm, 22nd September

How much: €7 per adult, €5 per child.

Olwyn is an avid forager and wild food tutor based in Kylebrack, Co. Galway.
