CELT is a registered charity providing education, training and awareness-raising in environmental issues, traditional crafts workshops, sustainable living and nature conservation. CELT is a member of Irish Environmental Network (IEN) and through this organisation receive annual core funding from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment (DCCAE).

Click here for the link to a recorded filmed presentation given by an Environmental Pillar team to an Oireachtas Climate Committee on September 12th 2018, the committee was set up on foot of the Citizen Assembly Recommendations, to which I tailored my 5 minute presentation around suggested ways to integrate sustainable forestry, agroforestry focused on our native species, reform of the Coillte Public Forest estate and Coillte modus operandi to incorporate long term, Climate oriented environmental and social objectives,  via restoring native woodlands on unproductive Coillte Public lands and to promote more organic farming - Andrew St. Ledger
